My favorite music of 2025
~ / Blog / My favorite music of 2025
There’s a lot I have to say about the records you’re about to gaze upon. I think this post characterizes 2025 very well for me. I’ve had very little time to sit still and nourish little things like tracking my musical habits. This year has been both a blast and incredibly stressful. Music has been incredibly present and influential in that experience.
I’d love to talk about these records, each of them does have a story. Though I’m not allowing myself to spend the time to write all of that out, I will send out this post. If you’d really want to know all the deets, stories and context you’d have to coerce me into a conversation about them.
And I hope you know you can. I’m only a phone call away.

Lastly, the elephant in the room: The best music this year has of course been the music I’ve been allowed to experience in confidence. Whether making it or hearing it, with friends on the floors of their student dorms, in online calls on clipped out screenshares and in files sent over pre-mix. I can’t thank the muses I’ve been allowed to call my friends enough. You’ve made this year exactly what I hoped it’d be.
Thank you for the music. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your love.
- Love, Puk
